Departure Day

It is finally here, we leave tomorrow morning! We got all the parts we were waiting on and Jim did the installation over the weekend. So everything is working well.

Dan, our son, and my Mom drove us up on Monday and left us without a vehicle, which was the plan, except I forgot that I needed to grocery shop. Jan, the office manager at our Marina, Vermilion Power Boats, offered us her car to do our last minute errands. Yeah Jan! Also thanks to Jim Wight who offered his car as well.

We are not going far the first day, we are heading to Kelly's Island for a couple days, it's on the way. Haven't been there for about 20 yrs, we usually end up in Put in Bay, so it's time to see how much Kelly's has changed. I will take some pictures and see if I can figure out how to post them from the camera.

Hi Mary & Jim,

My daughter & family were @ Kelly's Island same weekend you were. I saw some of their pics and heard about the parade & fireworks. I did not hear about the snakes...will have to ask about that one. So how does it feel to be free as birds?
Luv Ya, Sheron
