Middle Bass Island

Since our last post we have left Kelly's Island and went a little farther to the new state park marina at Middle Bass Island. The marina was beautiful, just opened on the 4th of July weekend, however they do not have their power or water yet. Good thing we have a generator.

We left Middle Bass this morning and headed to Grosse Isle, MI. We are staying at Ford Yacht Club, it's a nice place, and they have electric and water, yeah. And no snakes. It's been pretty uneventful so far.

Hi Mary & Jim,

I heard about the wind on Kelly's Island. I spent that weekend dog
sitting while my dtr and family were @ Kelly's Island. Are you having fun? Sounds like fun to me.

Luv Ya, Sheron

Sounds like you are having a good time, finally.. We had a great time on our vacation. Taking the train to NY city was nice and you'll enjoy the Hudson river when you get there next year. We are all doing well, Jillian is having another great summer, ah to be nine again.. Stay safe, talk to you soon. Nick, Lisa and Jillian

Hi Jim and Mary,
Sounds like you two are having lots of fun. Hope you have good weather for Georgian Bay. It is so beautiful and the water is sooo clear. Couldn't believe how deep it was right off of the shore.
Thought I was the only person who tried to save bugs... Jim you old softie!
Love the blog!!!
