Pensacola, Florida

The weather is gray today, with rain on the way.  They are calling for 3 to 6 inches within the next couple of days.  We plan on staying put until Thursday. Yesterday we went to the Navy Museum, that is an amazing place.  They have planes from every war displayed.  This is also the home of the "Blue Angels".  They fly over the marina, practicing. Notice who is in the cockpit, he doesn't fit very well.  Too bad, he qualifies in every other way!

Here's "Snoopy" in his "Sopwith Camel".

Hi Mary,

I hope you and the "Space Ranger" are doing well - or is that "Maverick" from Top Gun?

It looks like you'll need to batten down the hatches today (the storm before the calm!). I'm sure you'll be saddened that you missed the first snowman-building day of the year, on black Friday, right on que! It was a nice 4 footer, he lasted for 2-1/2 days.

Enjoy the warming temps, we look forward to seeing you Sea Dogs and hearing your "tales of the sea" in a few weeks. We'll try to have plenty of the "white stuff" on the ground for your visit.

Happy sails - to you!
