Baie Fine, Ontario

Baie Fine, pronounced "Bay Fin" is North Americas only Fjord. This waterway sits between Blue Ridge South and La Cloche Range. We anchored out here in a small bay. We saw a black bear on the side of the mountain. This cabin sits in the middle of the water at the end of this waterway. Kind of like a cul de sac, but in the middle of it.

Today, Friday we headed about 13 miles up the North Channel to a little place called "Little Current" we waited for our first "swing bridge" of the trip to open today. That was interesting. We arrived at the marina around noon, plenty of time to explore, relax and plan tomorrow's destination.

Dear Mary & Jim,

What beatiful pics and such vivid descriptions. Mary you are doing a fine job. Maybe you will want to work for National Geographic and forget about houses. Is that a thought? My bro is here and is working on the basement. The garbage man will love our curb on Monday. We did have a serious heart to heart talk about when to put the house up for sale. I told him I could put up a sign anytime but was he considering that I had no viable place to live or any that I looked at so far. That sort of cleared and cooled the air. After the basement becomes presentable, I may call your friend and see what she thinks. My brother's theory is that if no one knows the house is for sale, how can it even be considered? Good point I guess.

Talk to you soon, Luv Ya, Sheron
