Drummond Island, MI

The weather has not co-operated with our plans to move on, so we will stay here. There are still Italichigh wind warnings. Another looper couple came in today, they are out of Ft Lauderdale, formerly from Bratenahl, Ohio. They are heading the same direction we are, so maybe tomorrow, if winds are down we will both head out. I took some pictures last night of the stormy sky, which was really pretty.

I can't believe the start of the school year is just a week away. Connor, Erin, & James, we hope you have an amazing senior year. Ian, Jillian, Katie, Kristin, & Nick enjoy your school year and we hope you have great teachers and allot of fun re-connecting with your friends.
Good to hear from Jan, Jeff & Linda @ "Vermilion Power Boats" enjoy the rest of the season, it sure goes quickly. Hopefully everyone's doing well.

Hello to the Captain and First Mate. I must say it is hard to keep up with you both. Always on the go to beautiful places with good food and people! We are enjoying the National Geographic roadshow! This week the kids are back and school and I must say I am exhausted already. I need Saturday to come every 3 days...smile. Everyone is good. Nick is playing football so I have yet something else to be a nervous wreck about as if him starting high school was not enough.
Just in case, here's a HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Jim so for once I will be in front of his birthday! Be safe and have a blast! Love Sue and crew...

Hi Loopers......
Sounds like you are having a great time...We just have one question, do you think you will make it to Mackinaw before you want to fly home for Christmas(Just kidding). I have been plotting your ports on my map, sure looks like you have hit some neat spots. So have a safe and enjoyable voyage.

Hi Mary and Jim! Thank you for the birthday card! I was surprised, and wouldn't have expected you to send one while you're on your trip, but I certainly appreciate it! :) You guys are seeing some amazing stuff. I love checking out the pictures! Things are well here. Leah is in SC with her boyfriend attending the Marine Corps Ball. He is supposed to be deployed in Oct., but is still recovering from surgery from his previous injuries, so It's a bit up in the air. James has decided he wants to try college, so we are scrambling to line that up. His girlfriend is adorable by the way. I'm not sure if you had the opportunity to meet her yet. (my alzheimers is kicking in). Lana is single and brings home so many guys (just to visit) that I'm considering a name tag program. There are 3 different Matts. Sigh. Jim and I are doing well. We're going on a cruise this Jan. for our 25th anniversary. It'll be good to get away. Sorry this is so long but we haven't chatted in a while! Take care and have fun! oh, Jim said you need to change the name to "Sales & Nails and Snags!" hehe. He sometimes comes up with a good one!!! Love ya guys!
